Sneakily get Kew Gardens 2for1 entry for a whole YEAR

A visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew costs £15 per adult, but you can half the price for couples with a 2for1 voucher…

If you live in London, chances are you don’t have a garden.

While there are countless green spaces where you can drag your blackened lungs and breathe clean air free of charge, very few match the splendour of Kew.

Right now, you can blag a Kew Gardens 2for1 voucher to use as many times as you like for a full 12 months. And it’s valid at other gardens too.

Kew’s the daddy: The iconic Kew Gardens palm house.

To get one, simply buy the May issue of Gardeners’ World (£4.75). It’s on newsstands from Tue 25 April until Mon 29 May.

Inside the magazine, you’ll find a reusable 2for1 entry pass valid at 400+ gardens across the UK. Six of them are within easy (ish) reach of central London.

Simply turn up on the day and wave your pass – keep it safe – to enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free on every visit until Thu 12 April 2018. So how much can you save?

Well, entry to Kew Gardens costs £15.50, which means factoring in the £4.75 for a copy of Gardeners’ World, couples save £10.75 the first time and £15.50 every time after that. The only catch is you can’t use it in July or August (bugger).

So even if you only go the once, this saves money. Though if you’re the outdoorsy type and can’t stay away, you can save an absolute fortune by rinsing the 2for1.

But remember, it’s not all about Kew Gardens.

The same voucher will gain you 2for1 entry at all the following gardens, National Trust and English Heritage sites located in or around London and Surrey:
